How to Conceive a Boy This is a step-by-step summary of what you can do to improve the chances of onceiving a baby boy. The method includes the timing conception to happen when your body environment is most likely to favour sperm that results in a boy child. Determining the Time of Ovulation: Determining when you ovulate is vital when you are learning how to conceive a boy. There are three specific ways in which to do this. Sex and Orgasms: When trying to conceive a boy, it helps if the woman has orgasms first, as her body produces substances after orgasm that makes the vaginal environment less acidic and more alkaline, which favors the "boy" sperm. The contractions which accompany an orgasm help move the sperm up and into the cervix, giving the "boy" sperm an extra chance at being available when your egg is available for fertilization. To conceive a boy, the mother should consume foods high in sodium and potassium, and minimize her intake of calcium and magnesium. Also a caffeinated beverage taken by the man right before sex makes the Y-Sperm more active. Other Some methods claim that douching with an acidic or alkaline solution can tip the balance to having a boy or girl, by changing the acid/alkali environment in the vaginal tract. They suggest douching with baking soda (or specifically devised alkaline solutions) for those wanting a boy.
